Hakea 'Burrendong Beauty' was a chance germination at the Burrendong Arboretum in NSW and is regarded as a hybrid with Hakea myrtoides and Hakea petiolaris as parents.
It is a widely spreading prickly shrub flowering in the Winter. It can grow to 1.5m high with a spread of 2 to 3m, but can be pruned. It is propagated from cuttings.
